My two 20-pound coon cats.
Nickname: “The Boys.”
I wonder what they’re thinking?
Cat 1 : She said watch the birdie.
Cat 2: I’d rather eat it.

That sums them up perfectly. They have, in the past, brought dead birds to me — in bed — and once OBCC ate an entire bird in front of my eyes, leaving only a few feathers.
Nice………….. not. My cat of years ago used to bring his kills home perfectly intact and clean, and line them up in size order on the back doorstep for inspection and reward!
That probably took some getting used to.
It was quite sweet as he never used to massacre them and they were never a bloodied mess.
They’re thinking; I wonder what she’s taste like as pate? You distract her, I’ll weave between her legs and boom, we’re golden.
I’ve often wondered if I’m nothing but a giant pate to them. 🙂
I think all pet owners wonder that when we catch “the look” 😊
It can be disconcerting. 🙂
Then there’s the “do not disturb your master” glare that a cat gives when interrupted (from licking, trying to catch a lizard, etc.)
Hahaha! Or the truly eerie, “I’m going to stare at the corner of the room for no apparent reason just to freak you out” thing…
“I sure could use a nice quiet cuddle . . .” I wonder what’s for dinner . . .”
Very astute! Where they are sitting is in front of their food bowls. 🙂
What’s for lunch?
They ask that every day. 🙂
As long as it’s the same wet food they insist upon, they’ll eat it. Anything else (with the exception of salmon) is ignored.
They are adorable. Does this mean they are double the trouble? Cheers,H
And double the fun, too.
That’s their position on the matter. 🙂
