ah, an itch to scratch…

It’s quite a fight, but I think we’ve bested the minuscule monsters — for now. 🙂
Nice haiku. We ended up with fleas 2 years ago despite being indoor only cats- it was a nightmare.
I scratch at your pain.
We live in the country with a doggie door that they use often and well. We have to start treating for fleas with multiple products in March and can’t let up until November. Then one product is sufficient.
An argument here–do cats who eat mice eat the tail and ears too? I’ve heard tell that only cats whose mothers taught them to eat mice do so. Figger you’re the expert. Love your cats.
In my house they drag the mice next to my bed or on my desk as a gift.
Birds are a different story. OBCC brought in 1/2 a bird a few months ago. It was already dead so I watched how much of the carcass he’d actually eat. By the time he was done, there were 3 feathers left.
A very touching haiku, for the cats as well!
Florida critters are a flea feast. We battle them from April to October.
